So I goggled my charity today, and I came across this blog that I haven't added to in years. I don't know if anyone is following, but i think its time to start writing again!!! I have much to say although I am such a different person from before... maybe not so much but I have definitely matured.

It's been a long time!

OMG i have been so busy building Mariah Charities, that i haven't had a chance to blog. I wonder if anyone still reads this thing. Anyway, everything is going great, its a lot of work but it is so worth it. I'm getting ready for the school 2008 school year, and i am so excited. Currently there are 25 children and still counting. Wah a gwan peoples!

I have a confession, i have not been as productive as i should have this week. I've been pretty sick and preoccupied with getting concert tickets for Mary J, and Jay Z. I'm still sick, but i was able to get those damn tickets.

Well, i sent out my flyers to two correctional facilities, i want to start off slow. Basicly because (1) I dont have any funding and (2) I dont have any employees/volunteers. I plan to go to staples to get some supplies so that i can be organized. I've already turned my bedroom into an office. I am so nervous, but soooo excited. This is better that graduating from college.

It's going to be tough, working, running the NP and going to school for my masters. Lord, give me strength.

So, the other day was Valentine's Day, i didnt have one because i'm single, but it didnt feel any different from the last four. What's that about?

I dont have much to say, but its the season of LENT and I hope everyone is praying and staying focus. Maybe things aren't going your way, and you're feeling a little down. Just hold fast it will be over soon.

Hello,

Sorry for being away for so long, but i have been so busy working on my Non Profit Organization- Mariah Charities, in memory of my daughter Mariah Faith-Emmanuelle.

For some weird reason I always wanted to have my own NP, i started putting it into the universe about 4 years ago. I kept putting it off unitl i turned 30, but after the lose of my daughter, I've come to the conclusion that there is no better time than the present.

So, under Mariah Charities, my plan is to have several programs. The first is a program that will give aide to the children of parents who are incarcerated. I'm fortunately am not one of them, but most of my cousins are. Some of the these inmates would love to be a parent to their children, and this is where i come in. I will be that connecting factor.

There are two other programs that I am working on, which will give aide to other demographics. its a lot of work, but I want to give. I dont have much, but i am grateful for everything. I can only imagine what it feels like not to have.

Anyway, i will keep you guys posted. Besides i might need to vent more often, than usual, i might have to start a whole new blog.

So I've been bouncing around blogger, reading different blogs, and i must say that i am very impressed. I'm thinking about jazzin up my blog. Problem is i have no idea how to. meow

I'm thinking of signing up for netflix, i am always the last person to do something.

So, here's the deal i am officially single and loving it. This is always the best part for me, because now i can just spread my wings an fly. And that's exactly what i plan to do.
